Amanda and Nigel welcome you to the Bulls Head at Abotts Oak, the highest pub in Leicestershire. Located in the Warren Hills our warm and friendly pub offers a large selection of real ales, fine wines and spirits that are a great accompaniment to our locally sourced, freshly cooked home food. Throughout the year we have a revolving array of entertainment that see's the pub jumping. We are now planning our summer events, thankfully the gulf stream is starting to deliver and the sun is making an appearance. We hope you'll join us at some point to enjoy our events, our garden and the ultimate of warm welcomes from The Bulls Head Community and Staff. The Olympics are here! If you've made it this far with us you can call yourself a true Olympian, but don't give up that fighting spirit just yet, we have only just begun. From Friday 27th July - 12th August (inc) we will be holding our very own Bulls Head Wii Olympics every Saturday and Sunday afternoon...lets see who will get bronze, silver and gold! There is a great surprise prize for the winner. Saturday 28th July - Wii Olympics, our first events kick off with 10 confirmed teams competing 16:00 - 20:00hrs folowed by Casino Night at 20:30hrs. Sunday 29th July - Wii Olympics continue, our second round of events kick off at 15:00 - 19:30hrs followed by our legendary monthly quiz night at 19:30hrs. Saturday 4th August - Wii Olympics round three from 16:00 - 20:00hrs followed by Nigel Ratcliffe singing live at 20:30hrs, dancing, merriment and a great night will be had by all. Sunday 5th August - Wii Olympics round four from 16:00 - 20:00hrs. Saturday 11th August - Wii Olympics round five from 16:00 - 20:00hrs followed by live entertainment from Sheena at 18:30hrs. Sheena is making her musical debut at The Bulls Head, we have heard great things about her, so this will be one not to miss. Sunday 12th August - Wii Olympics the final and Award Ceremony 16:00 - 20:00hrs. All our welcome to help celebrate our own athletes achievements. Wednesday 15th August - Psychic Night 19:30hrs. This will lead us nicely into the August Bank Holiday weekend and as tradition dictates, there will be a full programme of events for you to enjoy with us. I know there is a lot to take in but we wanted you all to know what's in the pipeline so, if need be, you can plan which events you want to be involved in...
